Sipapu Resort R. V. Park

Sipapu Resort R. V. Park is 25 miles from Taos, in the Sangre de Christo Mountains along the Rio Pueblo, surrounded by the Pecos Wilderness and the Carson National Forest. They have a nice ultimate frisbee course. The altitude makes it a bit cooler than the desert below. The campground is a nice base camp for visiting Taos, Santa Fe, Los Alamos and the Taos Pueblo.

The camping area is a bit of an afterthought at the resort. For $14 a night I expected more than a homemade port-a-potty. I haven't been since 2003, so it could have changed. Contact the resort to make reservations.
